Undoubtely the best of your figures so far, everything about her is mesmerizing. The composition is great too, but I have to say the background is not working so well for me, that temple looks scribbled more than painted. But anyway... you should make a tutorial for figures and skin!

*Adds to favourite artists* I'm going to guess that Chiyo doesn't speak much English, but I really hope he can read it! This is a wonderful piece of work! Her face is absolutely stunning- so beautiful! The roses are drawn with great details, and they too look beautiful. To me, it looks like she's wearing thin stockings, so I'm not expecting much detail in her feet. If she's not wearing stockings, perhaps try smoothing the texture a bit more and adding more detail. I think the background is quite nice- I love the castle/ mansion in the background. It frames her- helping the composition, in my opinion. I'm a little unsure of the bottom of the picture though. It seems like the background there has less effort put into it- or that the world has dropped away too soon. I'm not sure how this could be improved though. Excellent work. I look forward to more from you! +8

Very beautiful. Two things that kind of confuse me though. The second sword in the back to the left (not sure what it is doing there, the perspective is not really clear - or is it only floating there?) The right lower part of her robe is confusing me as well..my eyes are probably playing tricks on me there but I can't really understand the logic there). Either way - fantastic piece

This is definitely one of the best works I ever saw wandering about GFX. You are a master in arts. Kyena, I think especially the styling in the robe and decorations is a big plus in the artistic sence. A lot of the artists are too stuck on logic, but what is logic anyway? As long as it stays up as a quality piece and feels right, it's only for the better that something estranges from time to time. You're in my favorite artists section now. Where's your website?

i actually LIKE how the background and feet area have not been detailed in comparision to the face and hands area which is where the viewer is to focus on anyways. If they WERE to so carefully detailed, just as a photograph does not miss anything, it would scatter our attention to where he wouldn't want them to be. Here, there is also dimension and depth. It's how many are taught to paint. +7

So now that you've gotten all the kudos you could possibly want , let me say while I really like this, I would have prefered to see a more interesting design made with her dress (kimono, ukata, hanten or whatever it is) It seems a bit stiff and uninteresting. I would like to see some of the gracefull shapes/lines of the piece repeated in her clothing.

Interesting perspective - the face, fingers and rose are perfect. The rest of the image itself has more of a touch of impressionism than photorealism, but overall, it has an appeal of what "Kill Bill" as a movie had to stand out from other films of its time - - - a sense of uniqueness! [+8]

wow a lot of comments here. i just wanted to say this really good stuff. the only thing that threw me off was the perspective. i mean the angle is fine, but it seems all out of proportion the way you drew it. from what i see it seems like the angle is supposed to be very high, hence the large upperbody and small lowerbody. but it just looks like a leveled shot with massivley small legs and feet instead.

I really like this, however something about the typography makes me uneasy. Part of me likes it and the other part disagrees more fiercely than a democrat arguing over a republican tax cut. I'm not really sure if there can be anything done with it to make both sides agree. In one sense if this was on a dvd case then it fits very well in my opinion. However viewing it here I'm not sure if it's necessary.
